I finally decided to update these files and noticed I'd
never linked to the Ravine and Ridge files (wich were on the site, just
invisible). All files below should now be in place.
I created two additional maplets that I forgot before. These will be
temporarily known as the Ridge and the Ravine. I also slightly modified
the Brook 5 (bridge moved a bit to better fit the original village map's
axis). All existing maplets have been cleaned up as well. I will update all
of the maplets on my site once I am done with testing (5 maplets + the hill
map, forming a large battle ground with the original village, crossroads
and forest maps)
I decided to separate the 3 overlays into their components maplets.
I will henceforth call these maplets as they really are not overlays.
I think it is obvious how these should be used. Also, I opted for a wider
maplet (8 hexes) then current official maps (6 hexes) so the brook would
have a more natural flow as well as slopes or other surrounding features.
The swamp graphics are not my own design, I believe they were
originally published by Journal du Stratge, I just colorized them.
Unfortunatelly these features are seen from the front, unlike the official
terrain. I may try and make my own graphics for swamp yet, but only time
can tell.
I will correct the "brook" lines of maplets 1-4 once I have
completed the entire sets. Right now, at least the vertical ones won't
fit each other 100% .
